The group was on a diving expedition in the Caribbean with free-swimming Atlantic spotted dolphins. On the final dive of a particular day, one of the adults in the group decided that their young four year old child was now old enough to enjoy this incredible experience. The child was brought into the water and the dolphins paid particular attention to this young one as they circled the group.

The following morning as the divers returned to the water, they were surprised to see that the dolphins had returned with one of their 'baby' dolphins.
