Marine life ranges from microscopic plankton to the blue whale, the largest animal to live on earth. Archeological and cultural resources span a period of more than 10,000 years. To help protect and preserve these diverse resources, park rangers offer in-depth, interpretive programs free to the public on a variety of topics, at Channel Islands National Park Visitors Center, Spinnaker Drive, Ventura Harbor.
