Ventura Tours
In order to offer visitors and residents a glimpse into the lifestyles of long ago and a taste of the rich history which has shaped this seaside town, the City of Ventura's Community Services Department has designed a series of tours to understand the city's fascinating history. An adult must accompany children and some tours may be unsuitable for younger children. Tours start promptly, so be sure to come a few minutes before the tour starts. Special tours, tailored to your needs can be booked for your club or group with a minimum of 15 per group and at least two weeks' notice. Special tours are subject to scheduling availability. Purchase tickets at the Community Service office in City Hall (Room 226) or by using a credit card (Visa or MasterCard) by calling (805) 658-4726.

Murders and Mysteries of Ventura tour
This bus tour will take participants to locations where some of Ventura's most high-profile murders and mysterious disappearances took place. Cases include the Smith murders, Sherry Dally murder, and the mysterious disappearance from the Broadway parking lot of Cindy Mellin in 1970. Tour meets at City Hall front steps. $25.

The Casebook of Erle Stanley Gardner tour
Spend time where young lawyer Erle Stanley Gardner tried his many cases before writing stories of Perry Mason. This tour will focus on Gardner's legal career and his colorful life. Meet at the front steps of City Hall. $15.
Saturday May 31 - 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Ghosts and Ghouls tour of City Hall
Superstitions or not, this will be a unique tour about the ghosts of City Hall. So bring your lucky rabbit's foot and try not to step on any cracks, as we look into ghosts, superstitions and the unknown. Tour meets at City Hall front steps. $20.
